Giving Back To The Colorado Community
Divorce Matters is active in supporting and investing back into our local community. Beyond sponsoring scholarships for recent graduates, we also donate to several non-profits in our Colorado community throughout the year, including Knights of Heroes, Maria Droste Counseling, and the Denver Rescue Mission.
Our yearly donations to both Knights of Heroes and Maria Droste are from funds collected for Jeans Friday.
Several of our staff members also volunteer and work closely with the Denver Rescue Mission, especially during the holiday season. We are very proud to be a part of the Denver community and are dedicated to helping people during one of the toughest times of their lives.

Divorce Matters Scholarship (2018)

Denver Rescue Mission
In 2017, we donated three boxes of food to the Denver Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving food drive. Our founding partner, Doug Thomas, also donated a check for $5,000 on air with Willie B from KBPI. Our staff was also a part of their “Adopt a Family” program where we partnered with the Denver Rescue Mission to provide Christmas presents for a family in need.
Knights of Heroes Camp
One of the charities our firm is involved with is Knights of Heroes, a group that hosts families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. A group of us spent a day up in the mountains at the Knights of Heroes camp helping them prepare for their spring session. We had a blast helping them get ready and are proud to support Knights of Heroes.
